Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours 50 minutes
Place all of the dough ingredients in the bowl of your bread maker and select the dough setting (or knead everything by hand or with a mixer). Let it rise for one hour. Roll out the dough into a large rectangle. For the filling, brush with butter. Mix the cinnamon and sugar and sprinkle with the nuts onto the dough sheet. Roll up from the longer side and cut into slices about 2 centimeters thick using a very sharp knife. Place in a greased oven pan, leaving one to two centimeters between the slices. Cover the rolls and let them rise for one hour in a warm place. Preheat oven to 190 degrees Celsius. Bake the cinnamon rolls for about 15 to 20 minutes. Mix together all of the frosting ingredients and drizzle over the still-hot rolls.
