Cinnamon sauce a la Gabi

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 ml milk
  • 50 ml cream
  • 400 g double cream cheese
  • 2 tbsp honey (acacia honey)
  • 2 tbsp rum
  • 1 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 1 lemon(s), the juice

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Combine milk and cream in a saucepan. Mash the cream cheese with a fork, add it to the milk and cream mixture, and bring to a boil while stirring. Add honey and let it dissolve. Season the sauce with rum, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Tip: Serve the sauce warm with pudding, sweet casseroles, ice cream, baked apples, or fried bananas.
