Clafoutis Au Chévre

The perfect clafoutis au chévre recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 4 piece Eggs (L)
  • 150 g Flour
  • 200 Milliliters Cream 30% fat
  • 250 Milliliters Milk
  • 380 g Goat camembert
  • 1 bunch Chives fresh
  • Salt and pepper
  1. Eggs in a bowl with the whisk until frothy
  2. Add flour and keep stirring
  3. Add the cream and keep stirring
  4. Add milk and continue stirring
  5. Add salt, pepper and 2/3 of the chives and keep stirring
  6. Let everything rest for at least half an hour. The longer the better.
  7. Grease a tart pan or, if necessary, a springform pan with soft butter.
  8. Slice the goat cheese and cover the bottom of the pan with it.
  9. Pour the mixed omelette mixture over it and sprinkle with the rest of the chives.
  10. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees top / bottom heat
  11. Bake on the middle rack for 45 minutes.
