Homemade mayonnaise sauce always tastes better

Blend the first four ingredients with a hand mixer until thick and creamy. While whisking continuously, gradually add the oil, first drop by drop, then in a thin stream. This will create a thick mayonnaise. Stir in the crème fraîche and season to taste with salt and pepper. This cocktail sauce is delicious with shrimp, fish, hamburgers, and fondue.
