Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 tsp cocoa powder, Dutch
  • 1 liter of milk
  • 8 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 pinch(s) of cayenne pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

This is the result of several experiments inspired by the film “Chocolat.” Heat the milk in a saucepan. Meanwhile, stir the other ingredients in a cup. If you like it spicy, only add a pinch of cayenne pepper—otherwise, it won’t taste good! Remove the boiling milk from the heat and stir in the prepared cocoa powder. Bring back to a boil briefly. Serve hot. Optional: Add cream.
