Cocoa-quark cake

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 180 g flour
  • 150 g sugar
  • 3 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 100 ml milk
  • 100 ml sunflower oil
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 4 egg whites
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 500 g quark
  • 200 g sugar
  • 50 g semolina
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • Butter and flour for the baking tray
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

Beat the egg yolks with the sugar. Add the flour, baking powder, cocoa powder, milk, and oil and mix. Beat the egg whites until stiff and gently fold in. Grease a baking sheet with butter and flour, then pour in the batter. For the quark dots, mix the quark with the sugar, semolina, egg, and vanilla sugar. Add the quark dots to the batter and bake for 30-35 minutes at 180°C (top/bottom heat). Let cool and serve dusted with powdered sugar.
