Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 5 egg whites
  • 200 g powdered sugar
  • 50 g sugar
  • 250 g desiccated coconut
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • some lemon peel, untreated, grated

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Beat the egg whites with the sugar until stiff peaks form. Stir in the powdered sugar, desiccated coconut, and lemon zest. Whisk the batter over steam until very warm and stir in the flour. Line a baking sheet with baking paper and form small kisses with two teaspoons. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 10 minutes until golden brown.
