Coconut Frosting

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 100 g powdered sugar
  • 200 g cream cheese
  • 50 g desiccated coconut

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

delicious on cakes, muffins or cupcakes

Combine the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and desiccated coconut in a bowl. Mix with a hand mixer until creamy. Don’t be alarmed; the mixture will seem quite runny and not yet suitable for piping. However, if you chill the frosting for half an hour, it will firm up nicely. Tip: For a little acidity, you can also add a little grated lemon zest. This isn’t necessary if you’re using low-fat cream cheese, for example. This already has a slightly sour taste. But it’s still VERY tasty!
