Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500 ml coconut milk
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 40 g cornstarch
- 100 ml milk
- 2 tbsp desiccated coconut
Instructions
Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes
Bring the coconut milk to a boil in a saucepan. Stir occasionally, as coconut milk tends to burn. Stir the cornstarch, sugar, and milk until lump-free. Once the coconut milk boils, remove the pan from the heat and whisk in the starch solution and coconut flakes. Bring back to a boil and continue stirring for about 1 minute. Then divide the mixture between bowls and enjoy warm or cold, as desired.
