Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 180 g flour
- 200 g butter or margarine
- 100 g sugar
- 3 packets of vanilla sugar
- 100 g nuts, ground
- 1 packet of baking powder
- 4 eggs
- 2 cups of yogurt (stracciatella)
- ½ cup sour cream
- 1 pinch of salt
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes
Preheat oven to 200°C. Grease cake tin if necessary. Melt butter or margarine in the microwave or in a double boiler, mix with sugar, add vanilla sugar and a pinch of salt. Add eggs and mix well. Add the flour mixed with baking powder and mix everything well. Add yogurt and sour cream and mix well. Finally, add the ground nuts. Bake at 180°C for a good half hour. The consistency is similar to a cheesecake, as the yogurt and sour cream can make the batter seem uncooked even though it is cooked through. This makes the inside of the cake moist and not as dry as regular cakes. If you like sweet things, use 200g of sugar instead of 100g.
