Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 1 orange(s), untreated
- 1 tbsp lemon(s) – zest, grated
- 1 stalk(s) cinnamon
- 4 tbsp instant coffee
- 500 g gelling sugar
- 1 liter of water
Instructions
Working time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes
Cut the orange into thin slices. Boil the orange slices in just under 1 liter of water with the grated lemon zest, the cinnamon stick, and the coffee. Sprinkle in the sugar and let everything boil for 4 minutes. Remove the cinnamon stick and test for settling. Remove the pot from the heat and immediately pour the mixture into the prepared jars. Close the jars tightly and let cool upside down. Tip: If the orange slices don’t add much to the jelly, you can replace them with very thin lemon or orange strips (julienne strips).
