Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 1.7 kg white cabbage
- 125 g sugar
- 125 ml oil
- 125 ml vinegar
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 pinch of pepper
- ½ red bell pepper(s)
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 20 minutes
Finely shred the cabbage and place it in a bowl. Finely slice the bell pepper and add it to the cabbage. Heat the remaining ingredients and pour over the cabbage. Let it simmer for about 2 hours, stirring. Then mash the cabbage a little and let it simmer until the next day.
