Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 head of white cabbage
- 1 carrot(s)
- 1 vegetable onion(s)
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- pepper, black
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- ½ cup buttermilk
- sweet cream
- 1 tbsp vinegar (wine vinegar), white
- 2 tbsp lemon juice

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 15 minutes
American Coleslaw
First, chop the cabbage, carrots, and onions as finely as possible. This is best done in a food processor. Combine the remaining ingredients and stir into the vegetables. Mix thoroughly and transfer to a sealable bowl. Place in the freezer for about 2 hours. Remove from the freezer at least 1 hour before serving.
