Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 200 g flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 50 g sugar
- 1 pinch of salt
- 2 tsp lemon peel flavoring (Citro-back)
- 60 g margarine
- 1 egg(s)
- 1 tbsp crème fraîche
- 100 g almond(s), ground
- Fat (Biskin) for frying
- Powdered sugar or decorative snow for dusting
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes
Quickly knead all ingredients with the dough hook of a hand mixer until smooth. Roll out the dough to about 1 cm thick and cut out shapes using a Mutzenmandel cookie cutter. Bake in batches in hot oil for about 3 minutes at 170°C. Drain well and dust with snowflake decoration. Makes about 40 cookies.
