Colorful Casserole

  • 1 Cabbage
  • 400 g Potato noodles
  • 1 Red paparika – cut into cubes
  • 2 Fine sausages, not scalded
  • 1 Diced onion
  • 3 tbsp Oil
  • Salt
  • White milled pepper
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 1 tbsp Flour
  • 150 ml Milk
  • 1 tbsp Cream of horseradish
  1. Halve the pointed cabbage, remove the stalk, cut into strips, wash and drain in a sieve. Cook in salted water for about 8 minutes. Drain, collect 200 ml of cabbage stock and set aside.
  2. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan, fry the potato noodles in it for about 5 minutes while turning.
  3. Put 1 tablespoons of oil back into the pan, heat it up and then press the sausage meat out of the skin so that small dumplings are formed. Fry in hot oil for approx. 4 minutes and remove. Now sauté the peppers in the frying fat.
  4. Heat the butter in a saucepan, sauté the onion cubes, dust the flour over it, sweat and deglaze with cabbage water and milk. Bring to the boil and simmer for 5 minutes. Add the cream horseradish and stir in.
  5. Mix the noodles, sausage balls, paprika and pointed cabbage with the sauce and place in a greased baking dish.
  6. Bake the whole thing in a preheated oven at 150 ° C fan oven
