Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 large onion(s)
  • 4 sausages (smoked Mettendchen)
  • 500 g leek
  • 500 g carrot(s)
  • 1 can of corn
  • e.g. puree (mashed potatoes)
  • 60 g cheese, grated
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder
  • oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Country woman’s recipe

Dice the onions, slice the leeks, and slice the carrots. Cut the sausages into pieces. Fry everything in a little oil, then add the corn and season. Then transfer everything to a greased casserole dish and spread the mashed potatoes over the vegetables. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake in the oven at 200°C for 30 minutes.
