Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 cup sugar
  • ½ cup butter
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 3 ½ cups flour
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 220 g cream cheese
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • Banana(s), peaches, kiwis, nectarines, grapes, oranges, berries
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 2 tsp cornstarch
  • Grease for the tray

Instructions

Working time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

The quantities are based on the American measuring system. Cream the butter, sugar, and vanilla sugar until fluffy. Add the salt and egg. Mix the flour and baking powder well, then gradually stir into the dough, alternating with the milk. Knead well. Preheat the oven to 180°C (top/bottom heat). Roll out the dough on a greased baking sheet into a circle approximately 40 cm in diameter. Bake for 8-10 minutes, until golden yellow. Peel the fruit and slice or cut into pieces. For the topping, mix the cream cheese and sugar well and spread over the cooled base. Then spread the fruit over the cream. For the icing, mix the juice, cornstarch, and sugar well and heat in a small saucepan over low heat until the icing thickens. Then spread over the cake. Chill until ready to serve.
