Conny's feta and garlic "Dings" paste

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 pack of feta cheese
  • 1 cup herb cream cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 6 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 large garlic cloves
  • 1 pack of chives, frozen or fresh
  • 1 m.-sized onion(s)
  • ½ lemon(s)
  • some salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Mash the feta with a fork or mash it in a shallow bowl with a potato masher (mine works really well). Finely dice the onion. Crush the garlic with a press; some people like more or less. Juice the lemon. Stir everything together in a bowl and season with salt and pepper. Be careful with the salt, as some feta is very salty. Fold in the chives (or other herbs), and it’s ready. Then refrigerate. Personally, I always make double or even quadruple the amount, as I don’t have half lemons to spare, and my friends are addicted to it. That’s why it’s also called “thingy” because we didn’t have a name for it at first.
