Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 400 g wheat flour (405 or 550)
  • 3 tsp baking powder
  • 200 g brown sugar
  • 60 g starch flour
  • e.g. cocoa powder (about 2-4 tbsp)
  • e.g. lemon peel (1-2 tsp)
  • e.g. vanilla powder (1 tsp)
  • n. B. Espresso, instant (2 tsp)
  • 1 pack of sweets, nuts, chocolate bars, etc. (about 200-350 g)

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

ideal as a gift – can be varied with any sweets

Fill a 1-liter jar (clean and dry) in layers and order with: 130 g flour (sifted with the baking powder) 200 g brown sugar 130 g flour 60 g cornstarch (mixed with the flavoring) 140 g flour In a small bag or jar, add the sweets of your choice (which will be baked into the cookies) – ideally the recipient’s favorite treat: chopped caramel candies, chopped chocolate or chocolate bars, Smarties, M&Ms, dried cranberries, chopped nuts, chocolate chips, etc. Attach the baking instructions to the jar: “You will also need: 250 g softened butter 3 eggs 1-2 tablespoons milk/yogurt/sour cream if needed Preparation: Beat the softened butter and 3 eggs until creamy. Pour the mixture from the jar into a bowl, mix well, and add to the egg-butter mixture. Knead everything well. If the dough is quite stiff (e.g., because the eggs are quite small), add a little more milk if necessary; it should be easy to form into balls. Mix in any chunky sweets as well. Using a teaspoon or by hand, place small heaps or balls onto the baking sheet (lined with baking paper) and flatten slightly. Bake at approximately 180-200°C. After 8-10 minutes, they’re more “chewy” like US cookies – after about 12-14 minutes, they’re more like cookies here.” We make about 2.5-3 trays (about 50-60 pieces) full of super-delicious cookies that taste best fresh – for example, in these versions: * Cocoa dough + chocolate chips * Vanilla dough or cocoa dough + M&Ms * Lemon dough + cranberries * Vanilla dough + chopped Snickers/Mars bars * Espresso dough + chopped cappuccino chocolate * Vanilla dough + chopped favorite chocolate * Vanilla dough + chopped peanuts/hazelnuts/macadamia nuts If you like, you can also bake large cookies – like in a coffee shop or something. Then, of course, there won’t be 50-60 cookies – and the baking time might be a bit longer.
