Cookies: Mazurki – Almond Cookies

The perfect cookies: mazurki – almond cookies recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 250 g Almond sticks
  • 125 g Block chocolate
  • 125 g Sugar
  • 50 g Flour
  • 1 piece Egg from the neighbor’s chicken
  • 1 piece Egg white from the same
  • Possibly wafers
  1. Melt the block chocolate in a water bath and mix with the egg yolks, sugar and flour with the almond sticks – I can still remember that as a child I grabbed the almonds and cut the sticks myself.
  2. Beat the two egg whites until stiff and fold into the chocolate and almond mixture.
  3. Place small heaps either on wafers or on a baking sheet lined with baking foil and bake at 160 degrees for about 10 minutes.
