Cookies: Mazurki – Almond Cookies
The perfect cookies: mazurki – almond cookies recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 250 g Almond sticks
- 125 g Block chocolate
- 125 g Sugar
- 50 g Flour
- 1 piece Egg from the neighbor’s chicken
- 1 piece Egg white from the same
- Possibly wafers
- Melt the block chocolate in a water bath and mix with the egg yolks, sugar and flour with the almond sticks – I can still remember that as a child I grabbed the almonds and cut the sticks myself.
- Beat the two egg whites until stiff and fold into the chocolate and almond mixture.
- Place small heaps either on wafers or on a baking sheet lined with baking foil and bake at 160 degrees for about 10 minutes.
