Cookies: Orange Talers
The perfect cookies: orange talers recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 500 g Flour type 550
- 50 g Marzipan paste
- 3 piece Free range eggs
- 250 g Butter
- 250 g Sugar
- 1 Vials Orange aroma
- 1 tablespoon Bitter orange jam *

- 2 tablespoon Bitter orange jam *
- 200 g Powdered sugar
- 2 cl Grand Marnier
- Finely grate the marzipan and mix with the flour, eggs, sugar and butter. Add orange flavor and jam and knead carefully. Cover the dough and let it cool for about 1 hour.
- Roll small cherry-sized balls out of the dough and place them on a tray lined with foil or paper. Keep distance. Use a wooden spoon to make indentations in the balls.
- Bake at 180 degrees with convection in a preheated oven until the cookies have taken on color. They diverge a little and the holes have turned into small pits,

- Mix powdered sugar with Grand Marnier and orange jam and spread this on the hot spots. Let cool and then store in tin cans.
