Cookies: Walnut Hearts

  • 1 packet Orange baking
  • 2 Egg yolk size M
  • 90 g Ground walnuts
  • 330 g Sifted flour
  • 200 g Marzipan raw mass
  • 30 g Orange Liqueur (Contreau)

Decoration

  • Chocolate cake icing
  • White chocolate
  1. Put the butter, powdered sugar with salt, cinnamon and orange baking in the mixing bowl of the food processor and stir until smooth. Stir in the ground walnuts and egg yolks. Finally knead in the flour. Wrap the dough in cling film and put it in the fridge for 2 hours
  2. Roll out the dough about 5mm thick on a floured work surface and cut out small hearts. Place on baking sheets lined with baking paper.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven at 160 ° C for about 10-12 minutes on the middle rack until golden yellow … let the hearts cool down on a wire rack.
