Cooking: Legume and Potato Stew

The perfect cooking: legume and potato stew recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 200 g Colorful legumes
  • 1,5 liter Water
  • 300 g Waxy potatoes
  • 1 Onion
  • 3 Garlic cloves
  • Olive oil
  • 1 tsp Crushed red pepper
  • 1 tbsp Guardian Angel Spice Blossom Mixture
  • 1 tsp Seasoned Salt
  • 2 tbsp Tomato paste
  1. Put the pulses and water in a bowl and soak for a few hours.
  2. Then put both in a saucepan and cook for about 30 minutes. (possibly a little longer, depending on the soaking time)
  3. Peel and chop the onions and garlic, peel the potatoes and cut into cubes.
  4. Heat the oil in a pan, add the onions and sauté until translucent, then add the garlic and sauté. Now add the spices and tomato paste.
  5. Then add the potato cubes to the pan.
  6. Then add the contents of the pan to the saucepan and cook for another 15-20 minutes. (Beans should then be soft)
