Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 g pasta (corkscrew pasta)
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 250 g minced beef
  • ½ large bell pepper(s), red
  • ½ large bell pepper(s), yellow
  • ½ large bell pepper(s), green
  • 250 g Miracle Whip
  • some milk
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • ½ tsp, levelled lovage, ground
  • Salt and pepper, white
  • Paprika powder, sweet
  • curry powder
  • some margarine for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Light pasta salad with spicy minced meat and paprika.

Peel and dice the onion. Wash, deseed, and dice the bell pepper. Heat a pot of salted water and cook the noodles according to the package instructions. Drain the noodles and rinse with cold water. Heat margarine in a pan. Add the diced onion and fry until translucent. Add the minced meat to the pan and fry until crumbly. Season with salt and pepper. Add the diced bell pepper to the minced meat and fry for about 10 minutes. Season with paprika. Remove the pan from the heat and let the minced meat and bell pepper mixture cool for about 20 minutes. Place the Miracle Whip in a bowl and mix with the milk. Add the soy sauce, lovage, curry powder, salt, and pepper and stir in. Taste and adjust the seasoning if necessary. Add the cooled minced meat and bell pepper mixture and the noodles to the bowl with the dressing. Mix everything well, season to taste, and adjust the seasoning if necessary.
