Ingredients for 1 servings:

- 250 ml buttermilk
- 50 g butter, melted
- ½ tsp salt
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp, leveled baking powder
- 1 tsp, leveled baking soda
- 120 g polenta
- 150 g flour

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes
Corn Bread
Whisk the egg in a bowl, add the buttermilk and butter, and mix well. In another bowl, combine the dry ingredients, add the liquid, and briefly stir until a smooth batter forms. Bake the batter in a greased cake pan at 200°C (top/bottom heat) for about 25 minutes. Let cool slightly and cut into squares.
