Cornelian cherry jam is made by boiling cornelian cherries with a little water and pressing them through a sieve. Everything, including the peeled and cored pears, which have been thinly sliced, is then placed in a saucepan according to the package instructions and boiled for 4 minutes. The finished, hot jam is then poured into hot, prepared twist-off jars and sealed. The jam tastes delicious.
