Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 cups cottage cheese
  • 2 cups breadcrumbs
  • 1 ½ cups nuts (alternatively sunflower/pumpkin seeds)
  • 1 large onion(s)
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 3 eggs
  • Sage (also thyme and rosemary or variants with wild garlic or peppermint)
  • salt and pepper
  • Fat for frying
  • possibly water or beer (for food combining)

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Cottage cheese is the same as cream cheese

Chop nuts, finely chop onion and herbs, crush garlic, and mix well with all other ingredients. Form into patties (meatballs) and fry in hot oil until crispy. Keep warm. Serve with a mixed salad, potatoes, or simply vegetables. For a food combining recipe, simply use the egg yolks and add a little water or beer instead of the egg whites.
