Councilor Slices

The perfect councilor slices recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 3 disc Pig topside
  • 1 packet Raw ham
  • 1 packet Mushrooms fresh
  • 1 bunch Spring onions fresh
  • 1 a cup Cream
  • 0,25 liter Milk
  • 1 tablespoon Finely chopped parsley
  • 1 tablespoon Strength
  1. Cut the schnitzel into strips and fry them vigorously in a pan with hot oil.
  1. When that’s done, add the raw ham diced. Clean the champions (please brush them lightly, do not wash them) and cut into small pieces. Fry in another pan.
  1. Cut the spring onion into rings.
  1. When the meat is seared, add the spring onion and the fried champion with it.
  1. Deglaze with cream, add milk. (If you want, you can only use cream.) I always do half half.
  1. Stir in a little starch, add parsley, season with salt and pepper.
  1. We had ready-made Knöpfli with it today.
