Wholesome, especially warm, a real highlight

Preheat oven to 200°C! Knead all dough ingredients (wholemeal wheat flour, butter, salt, ice-cold water, and honey) together. Roll out about half of the dough and line a greased springform pan with it. Pull up the edges. Peel the apples and cut them into small pieces. Mix with the remaining ingredients and fill the dough. The amount of raisins, almonds, cinnamon, and vanilla spice can be varied according to your taste. Roll out the remaining dough and place it on the filling. Press the edges together slightly. It’s important to score a cross in the dough so the steam can escape. Bake the cake for about 40 minutes and enjoy warm! This is how delicious whole foods free of processed sugar can taste.
