Ingredients for 4 servings:
- ½ cup(s) mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp vinegar
- 2 tbsp sugar
- ½ tsp celery seeds
- ¼ tsp salt
- 3 cup(s) white cabbage, grated (finely chopped)
- 1 cup(s) red cabbage (if not available, replace with white cabbage), grated
- 1 cup(s) carrot(s), grated
- ¼ cup(s) green onion(s), finely chopped
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 20 minutes
In a bowl, mix mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar, celery seeds (not absolutely necessary), and salt together well. In a large, sealable bowl, combine the white cabbage, red cabbage, carrots, and spring onions. Stir in the mayonnaise mix. Cover and refrigerate for 2-24 hours.
