Ingredients for 8 servings:
- 1 head of white cabbage, finely sliced
- 2 carrots, grated
- 2 stalk(s) celery, thinly sliced
- 4 spring onions, cut into thin rings
- 200 g mayonnaise, good quality, organic preferred
- 60 ml buttermilk
- 30 ml maple syrup
- 10 ml apple cider vinegar
- 100 g pecans, roasted and chopped
- e.g. salt and pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Place the cabbage, carrots, celery, and green onions in a large bowl. Whisk together the mayonnaise, buttermilk, maple syrup, and apple cider vinegar. Season more generously than usual with salt and pepper. Fold the dressing and chopped nuts into the cabbage mixture and season again.
