Spread the love

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 400 g Spätzle or Knöpfle, chilled
  • 100 g bacon cubes or ham cubes
  • 100 g cream cheese
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 5 g parsley
  • 5 g chives

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 12 minutes; Total time approx. 32 minutes

very filling, easy and quick

Peel the onion and garlic clove. Crush the garlic. Halve the onion and slice into fine strips. Wash the parsley and chives. Finely chop the parsley and finely chop the chives. Melt the butter in a large pan and sauté the onions and garlic for 3 minutes. Then add the bacon and fry, stirring frequently. Add the noodles to the pan (I made the dough for the dumplings from 250g flour, 2 eggs, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 250ml water through a spaetzle sieve, but fresh from the refrigerator works just as well). Mix the noodles with the remaining ingredients in the pan, stirring frequently, and fry for about 8 minutes. Now add the herbs and reduce the heat to the lowest setting. Finally, mix in the cream cheese and season generously with salt and pepper. Serve.
