- 1 large loaf(s), long, wide and as high as possible
- 2 small garlic cloves, finely diced
- 3 spring onions
- salt and pepper
- 25 g butter, melted
- 1 tomato(s)
- n. B. Cheese (mozzarella, Gouda, feta cheese) in thick slices

Cut the bread diagonally in a diamond shape, not too deeply, and then diagonally in the other direction, stretching it slightly without breaking it. Tuck the cheese into the spaces, leaving some slices sticking out and others deeper in. Mix the melted butter with the garlic, salt, pepper, and spring onions. Pour the mixture over the bread and bake at 175°C for about 10-15 minutes, until the cheese is melted. Top with the sliced tomato. Enjoy warm.
