Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 3 eggs
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 130 g sugar
  • 60 ml oil
  • 150 g flour
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 100 ml milk
  • 3 apples, diced
  • 80 g butter, soft
  • 100 g sugar
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • powdered sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

First, whisk the eggs, salt, sugar, and oil until frothy. Then add the flour, baking powder, and milk. Pour the batter into a greased and floured 26cm springform pan. Dice the apples and spread them on top of the batter. Bake the cake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 30 minutes. For the glaze, combine the butter, sugar, vanilla sugar, and egg. Remove the cake from the oven, spread the mixture over the cake, and then bake in the oven for another 10 minutes. After baking, let the cake cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
