Ingredients
- 1 kg Swiss chard
- 500 g Potatoes
- 1 piece Onion
- 4 Garlic cloves
- 8 tbsp Olive oil
- Salt pepper
Instructions
- Wash the chard, remove the stalk and cut off the harder parts. It is best to only use the green leaves. Roughly chop this.
- Peel the potatoes and cook like boiled potatoes. Finely dice the onion and chop the garlic.
- Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in another saucepan and sauté the onions. Add the chard and let it collapse. Add the garlic and cook for about 5 minutes.
- Add the potatoes to the chard and roughly mash them with a fork. Mix everything well, add the rest of the olive oil and season well with salt and pepper. The "Blitva" is done! Tastes great, for example, with fried fish.
