Crockpot: Hearty Pea Soup with Sausages

The perfect crockpot: hearty pea soup with sausages recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 500 g Green, dried peas
  • 3 Pc. Onions, small
  • 350 g Potatoes
  • 1 packet Soup greens, frozen
  • 1 Pc. Bacon, great
  • Water
  • Marjoran
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 4 Pc. Mettenden
  1. Finely dice the onions and potatoes and distribute them in the crockpot together with the peas and soup greens.
  2. Place the bacon in a shaped well on the pea mixture and add water until all ingredients are covered.
  3. Operate the crockpot on the “high” level for 8.5 hours.
  4. Carefully remove the bacon (it disintegrates easily) from the pot, separate the rind and dice it.
  5. Puree about half of the pea mixture with the bacon and return to the saucepan.
  6. Cut the beef ends into slices and fry them. Add the fried slices to the soup.
  7. Stir everything vigorously, season with salt, pepper and marjoram to taste.
  8. Bon appetit!
