Crunch Burger

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 brioche rolls or craft buns
  • 600 g minced beef
  • 2 onions, white
  • ½ onion(s), red
  • 1 avocado(s)
  • ½ lime(s)
  • 4 slices of cheddar cheese
  • 8 strips of bacon
  • Jalapeño(s)
  • ½ bag(s) of nachos
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • Salt
  • pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 35 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Season the ground beef with salt and pepper and form into 4 patties. Peel the white onions, halve them, and then slice them into slightly thicker half rings. Heat a little vegetable fat or oil in a pan and sauté the onions until translucent. Sprinkle the sugar over the onions and let them caramelize. Meanwhile, fry the bacon. Mash the avocado in a bowl with a fork, season with salt and pepper, and add the lime juice. Finely dice the red onions and add them. Thinly slice the jalapeños. (Optional; if you don’t like it spicy, you can omit them.) Cut the buns open and lightly toast them in the oven or toaster. Fry the seasoned patties on both sides. Place the cheese on top and let the cheese melt for another 2 minutes with the lid on. To serve: Spread the avocado cream on the top and bottom of the bun. Distribute the jalapeños on the spread and top with the nachos. Then carefully place the patty on top and top with the caramelized onions. Lay the bacon crosswise over the top and then place the top of the bun on top. The burger can be skewered and secured with a wooden skewer, but it’s also perfectly fine without one.
