Mix the flour and salt in a bowl. Gently warm the beer, crumble in the yeast, and mix well. Add to the flour and knead everything into a smooth dough, finally kneading in the sunflower seeds. Cover the dough and let it rise until it has doubled in size. Knead the dough again, form it into a thick log, divide it into 16 equal pieces, and shape it into rolls. Place the rolls on a greased baking sheet and let rise for another 15 minutes. Then brush with milk. If desired, make a notch in the center. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C on the middle rack for about 20 minutes.
