Healthy food for a child’s birthday party, something for the eyes

You will need wooden skewers or toothpicks. Cut a small amount off the bottom of the cucumber lengthwise so that it sits well on a plate or tray without rolling away. You can then use this section to make the crocodile’s feet. Make a 5 cm incision on the front of the cucumber and use a knife to cut points on the top and bottom for teeth. Cut a forked tongue out of the carrot and place this in the mouth. Then put skewers on top of the cucumber until it is completely covered. Put a cocktail tomato and a mini mozzarella on each skewer. Place two skewers above the snout, each with a mozzarella ball for eyes. You can decorate these with a dollop of softened chocolate or Nutella to make them look even more realistic. The recipe is a hit with kids and the ingredients can be changed according to taste. For example, put a cocktail wiener and a grape or whatever you like on the skewers. I also like to give this to kindergarten on birthdays instead of cake.
