Ingredients for 4 servings:
- ½ cup(s) water
- 1 lemon(s), juice
- 2 tsp sugar or honey, amount as required
- n. B. Pfeffer
- 2 tsp dill, dried or fresh
- 2 tbsp sunflower oil
- 2 cucumbers
- 2 tsp salt
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
The cup holds approximately 200 ml. Peel and slice the cucumbers, then place them in a bowl. Sprinkle with salt. Lightly knead the cucumber slices with your hands and set aside for 7-10 minutes. In a separate bowl—the salad will be served in this later—add the water, lemon, sugar, pepper, dill, and oil; mix well, and season to taste. The dressing should be a bit sweeter, but not too sweet. Squeeze the cucumbers thoroughly and add them. The cucumber liquid can be discarded. Notes: The sugar can also be replaced with honey. I often use that, too. Fresh dill is, of course, more intense and tastier.
