Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 500 ml milk
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup cornmeal, maybe a little more
- 3 eggs
- Butter, for the mold
Instructions
Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes
very tasty bread, suitable as a snack or dessert
First, heat the milk until it’s almost boiling. Remove the milk from the heat and add the salt. Next, quickly add the cornmeal while stirring (if the mixture is still too thin, just add a little more cornmeal). Separate the eggs. Now beat the egg whites until almost stiff peaks form and briefly stir in the egg yolks. Carefully fold both ingredients into the mixture. Preheat the oven to 180°C. Meanwhile, grease the pan and spread the batter in it. Once the oven is fully preheated, bake the bread for 45 minutes. Once cooled, cut the bread into equal-sized pieces.
