Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • ½ cup oil
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 4 tbsp cocoa powder, dark, according to taste

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Mix all ingredients together, pour into a greased and breadcrumb-coated loaf pan, and bake for one hour at approximately 180 degrees Celsius (be sure to test for doneness with a toothpick). This cake is especially delicious with chocolate sprinkles (a great way to use up Santa Claus and Easter bunnies!). I usually make double the batch, because otherwise the cake is gone in half an hour (but then use a large pan!)
