Chocolate-coconut cubes
Cream the butter, sugar, and egg yolks until fluffy. Beat the egg whites until stiff and fold in. Mix the flour and baking powder, sift them onto the cream, and carefully fold them in. Place the dough on a 30 x 20 x 5 cm baking tray and bake at 200°C for 20-30 minutes (use a skewer to check). Melt the sugar and butter. Finely chop the chocolate coating and add it with the milk. Mix everything well until everything has combined (this will create a beautiful chocolate mixture). Cut the cooled base into 3 x 3 cm cubes. Now dip each dough cube into the chocolate mixture (until the cube is covered in chocolate on all four sides) and then coat it in coconut! It’s best to let it sit for a day! Tip: If you don’t like coconut, you can also coat the cubes in ground almonds, hazelnuts, or walnuts!
