Currant – Blueberry – Jam

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g currants, black, prepared and weighed
  • 400 g blueberries, weighed and prepared
  • 100 ml blackcurrant
  • 500 g gelling sugar, 2:1

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Place the prepared fruit and blackcurrant in a saucepan and mix with the gelling sugar. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly, and simmer for 4 minutes. Near the end of the cooking time, check for settling, skimming off any excess foam, and pour the mixture into the prepared jars while still hot. Seal the jars immediately. If you’re sharing the jam with children, simply replace the blackcurrant with 100g of currants.
