Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g currants
  • 125 g sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Carefully wash the currants, strip the berries from the stems with a fork, and sprinkle with sugar. Once the juices have released, bring them to a boil and simmer over low heat until soft. Season with sugar, if desired.
