Curry cream noodles with mandarins

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 300 g chicken breast fillet(s) or turkey breast fillet
  • 1 cup of cream
  • 2 large onions, diced
  • 1 can of mandarin orange(s) or peach juice, keep it
  • 300 g pasta (fusilli, ribbon pasta, etc.)
  • curry
  • Garlic
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • Flour, optional

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Cook the noodles in salted water. Cut the chicken fillets into bite-sized pieces and season with pepper, salt, and curry powder, if desired. Add the fillets to a hot pan, fry until golden brown, and add the diced onion. Stir in some of the cream and season with garlic, salt, pepper, and plenty of curry powder. Then add a little more water, the rest of the cream, and, if desired, flour to thicken. Bring the sauce to a boil. Now add the drained mandarins or peaches to the sauce. Pour in some of the reserved juice and bring back to a boil. (It’s not necessary to use all of the juice; everyone has to do it their own way.) Finally, add the cooked noodles to the sauce.
