Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g mayonnaise
  • 150 g yogurt
  • 1 dashes lemon juice concentrate
  • 4 tbsp currant jelly
  • 6 tbsp curry powder, English
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • ½ tsp sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes

for raclette at Christmas, vegetarian

Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl. Caution: The curry powder can stain plastic bowls! Perhaps a ceramic bowl is better. Mix everything thoroughly with a hand mixer until smooth. Then refrigerate and let it sit. 1 hour should usually be enough. However, we also like to let it sit overnight, as its flavor develops more over time. It goes well with meat, fish, poultry, on bread, or, as we have a long tradition, with raclette on Christmas Eve.
