Czech Potato Salad II
The perfect czech potato salad ii recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 1 kg Waxy potatoes
- 1 tsp Salt
- 100 g Celery
- 200 g Snack carrots
- 100 g Pickles
- 50 g Peas frozen
- 200 g Franconian meat sausage
- 1 Onion approx. 100 g
- 3 Eggs
- 250 g Delicacy mayonnaise / glass
- 4 tsp Mustard medium hot
- 1 tsp Salt
- Boil the potatoes in salted water (1 teaspoon) for about 20 minutes, drain, peel and let cool down well. Cut off the carrot ends and wash the carrots. Clean the celery. Boil the carrots and celery in salted water (here with the potatoes) for about 8 minutes, remove them, let them cool down a little and dice. Boil the eggs hard, let them cool down a little and dice. Peel onion and chop finely. Dice the pickles. Peel and dice the meat sausage. Put all ingredients (diced vinegar and cucumber, frozen peas, diced meat sausage, diced onion, diced carrots, diced celery, mayonnaise, diced egg, mustard and salt) in a bowl and mix carefully. Dice / press in the well-cooled potatoes (bought here with a kitchen helper in the Czech Republic!) And fold in. Let the potato salad stand in a cool place overnight. Before serving, it should be back to room temperature. This goes very well with warm meat loaf, chops or schnitzel (pork, turkey or chicken) or sausages or fried fish or, with us, served with fried carp.
