Czech Potato Salad

The perfect czech potato salad recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 kg Waxy potatoes
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 100 g Celery
  • 100 g Carrots
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 50 g Pickles
  • 50 g Peas frozen
  • 300 g 150 – 300 g Schinkenfleischwurst
  • 1 Onion (approx. 100 g)
  • 3 Eggs
  • 200 g Mayonnaise
  • 4 tsp Mustard medium hot
  • 1 tsp Salt
  1. Boil the potatoes in salted water (1 teaspoon) for about 20 minutes, drain, peel and let cool down well. Dice the well-cooled potatoes. Peel the carrots with the peeler. Clean the celery. Boil carrots and celery in salted water for about 8 minutes, remove, let cool down a little and dice. Boil the eggs hard, let them cool down a little and dice. Peel onion and chop finely. Dice the pickles. Peel and dice the ham sausage. Put all ingredients (diced pickles, frozen peas, diced meat sausage, diced onions, diced carrots, diced celery, mayonnaise, diced egg, mustard and salt) in a bowl and mix / mix carefully.
