Daniela's Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 125 g butter, soft
  • 100 g brown sugar
  • 100 g white sugar
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 2 pinches of salt
  • 200 g flour
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • 2 packs of chocolate drops

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Mix 125g of softened butter with both sugars. Stir in the egg, vanilla sugar, and salt. Combine the flour and baking powder and stir in spoonfuls at a time. Add two packets of chocolate chips and, using two moist tablespoons, scatter walnut-sized blobs on a baking sheet lined with baking paper, leaving plenty of space between each. Bake at 180°C (top and bottom heat) for about 15 minutes, until the edges are lightly browned. Remove from the oven and let rest for about 5 minutes. These can also be baked with white chocolate and macadamia nut pieces!
